Councils, Commissions and Committees

Councils and Commissions have been formed to serve as consultative bodies to the Pastor in their ministry area of expertise.  The following is a list of the councils and commissions currently serving our community.

The Finance Council is a consultative body providing advice and recommendations to the Pastor concerning the Stewardship of the parish's fiscal resources, including conducting long range financial planning to support the mission of the parish.   The Finance Council ensures that the finances are available to carry out the direction and goals of the entire parish community as established by the Pastoral Council.  The establishment of the Finance Council is required by the Code of Canon Law. 

The Stewardship Council works with our Pastor to promote stewardship as a way of life in our parish and for our parishioners.   It is responsible for formation around issues of Stewardship and helping each of us know that all we have and are is gift from God.

The Liturgy is the source and summit of our lives as Catholic Christians. This group is dedicated to facilitating rich, meaningful and authentic celebrations of the Mass by providing beautiful flowers and other environmental elements in the church.
